Origin of name:

 Germanen-> Different tribes of middle Europe which ethnical                                                            identity is the language. Still The exact origin of the word “Germane” is still not known for sure.

Areas of Germany:

Germany consists of 16 “Bundesländer”, which are parts  or better Regions of Germany. (Baden-Würtemberg, Bayern, Berlin, Brandenburg, Bremen, Hamburg, Hessen, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Niedersachsen, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Rheinland-Pfalz, Saarland, Sachsen, Sachsen-Anhalt, Schleswig Holstein, Thüringen).

Religious View:

 When Germans where still known as Germanen in the age of the Romans, and ancient Greeks the religious view was Germanic Mythology which was a mixture of different Gods known as a polytheism.

Now because of the Romans Germany is mostly Christian.

German Dress:

 The typical German dress, or rather what people associate Germans with is the traditional dress of Bavaria in the south of Germany.

Traditional German:

 There are things like bier-fests  in Germany which are very popular and known all over the world.For example the Oktoberfest which takes place in Baveria each year in Oktober. Another typical event for Germany but not as known is the “Backfisch-Fest” Which is located in Worms a small town in Rheinland-Pfalz. It is a very big event with nearly 700.000 visitors each year.
